Day 1 - Luang Prabang – Arrival
Welcome to Luang Prabang! Your arrival will be at the city airport and your tour guide and driver will drive you to the hotel in central city. Then you start with a visit La Residence Phou Vao, enjoy local art exhibition and partake in a Lao tea-testing ceremony. At sunset, ascend the 328 steps to the top of Phou Si Mountain that offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding rivers and cityscape before wandering through the bustling Hilltribe Market for traditional textiles and handicrafts made by the hill tribes.Day 2 - Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Royal Palace – Wat Mai (B)
After breakfast, you will take the cruise along the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, where you will discover gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes, which are nestled deep in the limestone caverns. Embark on a cultural tour of Luang Prabang in the afternoon, in which you will visit the Royal Palace, now National Muesum, before exploring the gilded temples such as Wat Mai, Wat Sensoukarahm and Wat Xieng Thong dotted across the city.
